Shepherd’s Huts – 4 Romantic rural retreats

To the east of the estate we have 4 expertly crafted shepherds huts from the UK renowed Greendown Shepherd huts. These highly rated attractive shepherd huts are compact and bijou, but have everything a couple should need. The 4 Shepherd’s huts are situated in Avon Farm’s 230 acre land, however they are in their own field overlooking a stunning outlook of another field which edges the river. Each romantic hut has a double bed at one end, and a walk-in shower with toilet and basin in a separate room at the other end of the hut.

Inside each Shepherd’s Hut: Small fridge, 2 ring hob, microwave or oven, toaster, kettle, log burner & special ‘Avon Farm’ welcome basket! Outside each property you have your own private use hot tub*, fire pit & BBQ stand. (guests do need to bring their own disposable BBQ trays).

*(Hot tub instructions must be adhered to).

At Avon Farm Cottages, we have a delightful treat in store – step into our serene sanctuary and embrace the therapeutic joy of being in the company of our adorable farm animals. From gentle horses to playful goats, and charming chickens, our furry and feathered friends are sure to warm your heart. And don’t forget to say hello to our charming alpaca, who will surely steal your heart with their endearing presence and gentle nature! The experience promises to be both heartwarming and memorable, leaving you with a sense of peace and contentment. Please note, we do not allow more than two guests per shepherds hut.  No children (including infants) or pets allowed in our huts, although our welcome in our other cottages so please take a look at these is you intend to bring children or pets.

Parking at Shepherds Hut

Parking in the car park is a short walk from the Shepherd’s Huts.  If you have travelled by taxi, we also have bike hire, so you can explore the local area via the Bath to Bristol cycle path if you wish to explore. Our nearest local pub The Bird in Hand is within walking distance.
